Who is Nervous Newbies for?
* If you have been inactive for some time or are new to exercise
*You a worried about starting an exercise regime and not being able to keep up
*You want to start slow, work within your limits, be gently guided and encouraged and rest when you need to without judgment
*You want to learn how to safely and effectively use your body to gain strength and fitness
*You have niggly aches and pains that you need to work around
Come and see how we do things, learn some exciting exercises and most importantly learn how exercise can make you feel!

There are MANY reasons why movement should be a part of our lives. Our bodies are designed to move.
General Health Moving your body helps with heart health, build strength, aids in mental health and has a great social aspect.
Wellbeing Weight-bearing exercise such as lifting weights & aerobic exercises, such as walking, help decrease the risk of osteoporosis. Aerobic exercise may help lower blood pressure and control blood sugar.
Overall Happiness Exercise makes you feel good because it releases chemicals called endorphins that improve your mood.
If you exercise regularly, it can reduce your stress and symptoms of mental health conditions like depression and anxiety
Exercise also helps improves your sleep
